In no particular order; community, family and the process of growing as a person. Play, analogue photography and music (especially when it’s live and intimate). Experiencing the world and the different cultures within it. Food and organic expression (I wrote dissertations on both). Last but not least, seeing the potential in something, and turning it into reality.

Over 5 years experience within the space of visual communication. I began photographing in 2020, where I landed my first photo assist role for Cosmopolitan’s October feature ‘Faces of Change’ - supporting Paula Abu (Narcography). My art direction experience started in 2021, during my 6 month term as a Photographer for a non-profit that supported start up fashion brands. My responsibilities included leading the creative concepting for the campaigns, as well as photographing them. In 2022 I took on the only creative role for the non-profit NCGS (Norwood Community Group Services) which included leading the creative direction and executing all deliverables; from website design and site photography, to social posts and ID badges.
However it is during my time at Tangle Teezer that I discovered my love of producing. Growing from a Design Intern to a Midweight Designer in just 2 years, was not only a reflection of my willingness and ability to grow with the company’s needs, but also allowed me to expand and develop my practice across design, art direction and production. During my 2 and a half years with the company, I’d shadowed, assisted & led art direction/production across over 20 shoots.
Over the past 5 years I’ve worked with and supported various communities and brands across all 3 mediums.

Yes.
I shoot digital with a Canon 6D II and film with my Canon MC & Pentax PC35AF-M
The above film cameras are predominantly for quick & candid capture. Higher spec SLRs can be hired, dependant on project needs.

Yes. Although it is no longer one of my primary mediums, I have years of design experience and still pick up design work from time to time. Feel free to reach out if you have a design enquiry.
Selected examples of my design work can be found here.

Film photography has my heart. I am in love with the candid nature of analouge photography, the stripping away of idealism, and the warmth of the final frames.
The Film Photo Album is an ongoing archive of the above sentiment.
